Winners of the first Lazer-Tag League: April 2012
Our very first Lazer-Tag League concluded last week with the winners securing a wonderful feeling of ‘I am the best’ and a little cash too; Toby Nulty was top of the pile and received £40.00 with Sean Searle in the second slot taking home £17.60.
April 2012 Lazer-Tag League Results
The Lazer-Tag Leagues are quite short, just four weeks.
This gives newbies a chance to join without having to wait long or join halfway through without a cats chance of catching the others up. In addition, the week after a league finishes we get together without all the high tech gear and adrenaline to dicusss what type of games we’ll play and how we’ll award points, so everyone contributes to their fun.
And when the talking is done we gear up and get some action in ready for the next league!
And speaking of the next League…
We’re the League will grow as word spreads about the excitement, with players joining from our local Fenland towns of Wisbech, March and Whittlesey. Our May Lazer-Tag League starts again next week on Monday 7th of May at 7.00pm and will run for four weeks, so now’s your chance to call Play2Day on 01945 450629 to join in.

It’s members only so you’ll need to pay £10.00 annual membership and £10.00 per League night but keep reading because here comes the good news:
- Your £10.00 annual membership not only gives you League access but to discounted games at ALL times! So you will pay just £7.60 for 3 games when everyone else is paying £10.20!
- You get the chance to play different types of games, for example: Standard Team, No Bases Fast Fire and Limited Health Fast Fire – you can’t do this on a Saturday afternoon!
- It’s a sport! We hear lots about the benefits of sport and I’m pretty sure Lazer-Tag fits the definition: ‘An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others’ – don’t you?
- £2.40 of your £10.00 game fee goes to prizes. The first League in April generated cash prizes of £57.60 for the winner and runner-up. Earn cash while having fun, sounds good doesn’t it!
