The Happy Hour has proved so popular with mothers we’ve been running it for years!

Happy Hour

A time for both mothers and their children to be …happy of course!

More specifically bring your children to the Indoor Children’s Play Centre on a schoolday between 3.30 and 4.30pm and they can enjoy a hot meal and the whole play centre until 6.00pm.

Even if you’re Fenland’s thriftiest mother you may find cooking for £1.00 a challenge.  And you still have to do the prep, cooking and clearing!

So make your choice of meal when you pay at Reception, relax and your child’s meal will be cooked straight away.

What are the hot meal choices?

First we’ll ask if you’d like

  • sausages, fish fingers, beef burger or chicken nuggest

then

  • chips or smiley faces

and finally

  • peas, baked beans of spaghetti in tomato sauce

I’ve paid and ordered my Happy Hour, what happens next?

Typically your children will run like their feet are on fire towards the bouncy castle, forgetting to say ‘thank you very much mummy’.

We’ll start cooking your choice of meal while you choose a table and chairs.

Then we’ll give a PA announcement saying something like ‘Ella’s Happy Hour meal is ready for collection at the snack bar’.

You’ll call Ella off the bouncy castle, collect her meal along with cutlery and copious quantities of tomato sauce and try to resist while she tucks into her smiley faces :-)
